The EMS panel is where medics work their shifts. You go on duty as a unit, respond to medical calls, crew up as rigs and write Medical records. Most tools are shared with the other service panels and have their own pages: [Units](/CAD/User/units), [Calls](/CAD/User/calls), [Records](/CAD/User/records), [Lookups](/CAD/User/lookups) and [Radio](/CAD/User/radio). Your server may also require you to be clocked in or to start your bodycam first. *** ## Your Unit and Rigs Pick or create a unit to get started. Only EMS agencies allowed on this panel show in the **Agency** list. See [Units](/CAD/User/units). On EMS, unit groups are called rigs. They show in **Active Rigs** under Active Units, and hold up to 4 units. Your unit's items and subdivisions come from its agency, which your admins set up in [Customization](/CAD/Admin/customization#agencies). | Agency | Items | | - | - | | Liberty County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS) | AED, Backboard, Stretcher, Medicine | *** ## Calls You see calls inside your agency's jurisdiction that are sent to EMS (or to all panels). In-game Fire and EMS calls go to both the Fire and EMS panels. When no dispatcher is online, you hear the incoming call tone for new calls in your area. When a dispatcher is online, they take incoming calls and assign you. When you self dispatch, the **Call Title** field suggests common EMS titles. You can also type your own. Medical Emergency, Injured Person, Sick Person, Unconscious Person, Cardiac Arrest, Chest Pain, Difficulty Breathing, Seizure, Diabetic Emergency, Stroke, Allergic Reaction, Fall Injury, Traumatic Injury, Burn Injury, Medical Transport, Interfacility Transfer, Medical Standby, Welfare Check Medical, EMS Mutual Aid, Other Dispatchers have extra titles you may see on calls they create: Medical Emergency In Progress, Unconscious Person In Progress, Cardiac Arrest In Progress, Difficulty Breathing In Progress, Seizure In Progress, Stroke In Progress, Allergic Reaction In Progress, Traumatic Injury In Progress, Burn Injury In Progress, EMS Mutual Aid Requested, Multiple Patients *** ## Records Click **New record** to write a Medical Record or Medical Report. A new CAD has no EMS templates, so your admins need to build them first, for example a patient care report. See [Records & Reports](/CAD/Admin/recordsreports#templates). Closed EMS records can't be edited. You can see active BOLOs in **Active Lookouts**, but creating or closing one needs Police or Dispatch permissions. Runs return the same civilian, vehicle and licence data as Police, but linked records only list Medical Records, Medical Reports and BOLOs. Flagged results aren't sent to dispatch. See [Lookups](/CAD/User/lookups). *** ## Supervisors With ems panel supervisor you can: * Fill in supervisor-only fields on EMS records and review them in the Supervisor Centre. * See who wrote a record with **View Author**. * Self dispatch even when your server turns it off, and create calls for other EMS units. * Set other units' status and panic, manage rigs and send them lookups and records. * Use **Dispatch Tools** (tones, signals, timers, live map) for your own panel. * Edit other EMS units' identifiers and watch their bodycams. *** Still have questions?
