# Webhook Configuration

> Pick the Discord channels where PRC sends your ER:LC command and punishment logs so Melonly can read them.

## What is Webhook Configuration?

PRC sends logs from your ER:LC private server into your Discord server as webhook messages. Webhook Configuration tells Melonly which channels those logs land in, so it can read them.

These logs cover command usage and joins and leaves, plus kicks, bans and other punishments. Features like the `:log` command and auto-logging kicks and bans need them to work.

## Setup Video

PRC's official video shows how to turn on command logs and send webhooks into your Discord server. Once logs appear in Discord, link those channels to Melonly.

## Webhook Settings

Find **Webhook Configuration** on the **ER:LC Integration → Webhooks** page.

| Setting | Description |
| - | - |
| Webhook Channel | The Discord channel where PRC sends command logs and join and leave logs |
| Alternative Channel | Optional. The channel where PRC sends punishment logs such as kicks and bans. Shown once you pick a Webhook Channel. |

Melonly needs the Create Message permission in the channels you pick.

## How to Configure Webhooks

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a Discord Channel">
    Pick the channel that should receive your ER:LC logs, for example **#command-logs**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy the Discord Webhook Link">
    Copy a standard Discord webhook URL for that channel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste It Into Your ER:LC Private Server Settings">
    Paste the URL into the PRC webhook field in your ER:LC private server settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run Commands in Game">
    Run a few commands in ER:LC. You should see log embeds appear in the channel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Channels in Melonly">
    Select the **Webhook Channel** and **Alternative Channel** that now receive PRC logs, then save.
  </Step>

## Common Issue: NO\_PRC\_WEBHOOKS\_FOUND

This error (**Webhook Channel Validation Failed**) means Melonly can't find any ER:LC webhook messages in the channel you picked.

### How to Fix It

* Check that the Discord webhook URL is pasted correctly in your ER:LC private server
* Run several commands in game, such as `:tp`, `:bring` or `:kick`
* Check that command log embeds appear in the channel
* Wait 5 minutes, then try saving again

If you can see Command Usage embeds in the channel, have waited at least 5 minutes and still can't save, contact Melonly support.
