## What is the Recent Page?

The **Recent** page shows your team's latest LOA activity: pending requests, active LOAs and recently ended leave. Use it to see who is away right now.

## Pending Requests

Pending requests are LOAs that haven't been approved or denied yet. A request only becomes active once a supervisor approves it.

***

## Active LOAs

Active LOAs are staff who are on approved leave right now. Each one shows:

* Staff member
* Reason for leave
* Status
* Duration (start and end date and time)
* Approving staff member

An active LOA stays here until the leave ends or someone ends it early.

  <Step title="LOA Becomes Active">

  </Step>

## Why LOAs Matter

LOAs keep activity expectations fair and clear, so staff aren't penalized for being away during approved leave. They also help supervisors plan around who is available.
